Who we are

A small unit at the centre of government.

The Presidential Delivery Unit was established in the Office of the President to make sure national commitments become results people can see — by choosing few priorities, measuring them honestly, and unblocking what is stuck. It does not replace ministries; it strengthens the routines that help them deliver.

01

A small set of priorities

The Unit focuses the whole of government on the President's highest-impact commitments, each with clear targets and timelines.

02

Data-driven tracking

Indicators, baselines and trajectories are tracked continuously through delivery plans, KPIs and scorecards.

03

Routines that drive action

Regular stocktakes and delivery reviews with implementing institutions keep progress honest and momentum high.

04

Problem-solving at the centre

Risks and bottlenecks are escalated and resolved fast, using the convening power of the Presidency.

How we work

From commitment to result, in five steps.

  1. Define the priority

Agree what will change, for whom, and by when.

  2. Plan the delivery

Set milestones, owners, budgets and the delivery chain.

  3. Track the evidence

Collect verified data against baselines and targets.

  4. Review and unblock

Hold routines, escalate risks, decide, and move.

  5. Report to the public

Publish progress openly — the purpose of this platform.

What we track

Three national priority areas.

Every presidential priority the Unit tracks sits under one of three areas, each aligned to the National Development Plan III.

Pillar 01

Economic Growth

Investment, energy, roads and ports, jobs and the productive sectors that widen the national economy.

Pillar 02

Social Development

Education, health, water and the services that decide the daily quality of life in every region.

Pillar 03

Governance

Public institutions, justice, digital government and the accountability that holds delivery together.

Aligned to Somaliland's National Development Plan III (NDP III) — the Unit reports against the same national framework, not a parallel one.
